Hello there, I'm Ashley Jane!
Although, I don't mind if you call me AJ. Thank you so much for stopping by. I constantly have my hand on my hook and my head in the clouds dreaming up the next piece I'll get to craft. In the rare moments I'm not keeping busy fiber, I'm gardening, hiking, or watching fantasy films with my husband and dog.
I have been crocheting for over 20 years now, and began my journey with small designs and pattern testing in 2019. Around that time I built a fiber community by hosting a weekly crafting circle at a local brewery. As the group grew in size, so did the demand for more events and engagement, prompting the formation of the non-profit crafting guild, the Charlotte Region Arts, Fibers and Textiles (CRAFT) Guild. In 2021, I stepped into full-time fiber work as the Design Team Administrator and Crochet Designer at Universal Yarn.
I am available for design tech editing, sample stitching, and classes upon request. Please email me at fromyarntostitches@gmail.com for inquiries.
Please also find and follow my Instagram, Ravelry, and Facebook to keep up with my most recent work, or just to say hi. I like making new fiber friends!

CRAFT CLT
In 2021, I founded the Charlotte Region Arts, Fibers, and Textiles Guild with 8 of my friends and fellow fiber artists. Our purpose is to promote and foster interest in fiber and textile arts through educational opportunities, community outreach, and charitable endeavors.
In 2022 we gained our non-profit status, and I continue to serve as the Executive Director, and stay active as a member.
